Fast Forward is a brand new, high-interest, low reading-level intervention program for middle years students (9- to 14-year-olds) who require a high level of support to improve their literacy.
The program focuses on developing the literacy skills of these students by providing them with high-interest books at their appropriate reading level. Fast Forward is designed to meet the literacy needs of all students, including English language learners (ELL) and students with special learning needs.
Fast Forward has been developed in response to teachers' need for appropriate reading materials for students with literacy difficulties. Fast Forward has been researched, trialled and evaluated in independent research with students struggling with literacy by The University of Melbourne. This research has ensured that Fast Forward is of the highest standard to meet the needs of low-achieving readers. |
